In October we held our first Elementary Parent and Student Workshop.
Our goal is to create an opportunity for parents to connect with their children and take an active role in their learning.
And it’s a great workout too!
Creativity is a muscle that must be exercised in order for it grow. We challenged our attendees to create movement combinations from cue cards that were passed out randomly. It was a lot of fun seeing what everyone came up with!
We practice vocal warm ups in English not only to train our vocals but also to help students learn the different sounds made in English. This is very useful for pronunciation and vocal projection.
Finally, it was time to put all our training into this year’s musical production. It is challenging to remember to stay in character, dance all the moves correctly, and remember your lines. By having these workshops parents can see how the lesson is taught and are better able to help their kids during self-study times.
